This is the home page of the CVGA project. This project is hosted by Sourceforge.net and we are glad to be on it. The project we are tryin' to present you is created to make easier the manage of a video-games warehouse. We know that each firm has its own particular esigent but we think that little firms or shops cannot buy an expensive program to take care of few products and cannot spend too much money to have easy analisis. So we think that this project maybe useful for someone and we are sure that in few times will be a solid team with a rocky software.

The project is alredy in use into a shop, this experience gives to the team the possibility to change and/or adjust things, into the program, that don't work or just add new features. Well, for the moment these are the working features:

Possibility to add new products' description and barcode into the products' database;
Show the goods in stock sorted by console;
Load new goods arrived into the stock by barcode;
Unload the goods in stock with registration of every movement by barcode;
Clean the goods in stock database;
Some little analysis;
Creation of .xls files (Excel files) from the goods in stock and the products database;
Possibility to register every invoices document to add new analysis.

CVGA was born in october when into my shop of video-games and consoles we need to catalogue the goods in stock to buy new products with rationality. At the beginning it was like a joke, it was only a three hours software born for necessity. After I've decided to go on with it and use it in all day commerce. So I've created some fuctions to load and unload items. Then I've seen that may be helpful to have a little statistic about the items in stock and I've added a little analysis. Then I've thought to register every movements, sale, return product to the mother firm because it was broken, or because there was an agreement, or everything else. I've added this new possibilities and I've thought about the possibility to create the project for anyone and I've searched for the right license and I've found the GNU GPL. Then I've searched a mirror to show the software and find new people to work together on it and I've found sourceforge.net. Now we are new born and you have found us. Welcome!
